Hypnosis is a tool anyone can use and everyone should understand.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a powerful therapeutic tool for accessing the subconscious mind and achieving personal goals or affecting desired changes. Few people realize the awesome power their subconscious mind has over their lives. The causes for many "bad habits" are rooted in memories or perceptions that may be forgotten by the conscious mind but retained in the subconscious. Hypnosis helps to access the subconscious and change those habits more quickly and easily.

What can it do?

Hypnosis, often under physician referral, has been proven effective in countless physical and mental illnesses, dealing with fears, degenerative conditions, anesthesia requirements, pre and post surgery, and especially attitude modifications. It can create the all-important positive attitude necessary for healing. It can enhance learning, develop motivation, build confidence, and improve relationships.

How it works?

Hypnosis is a method of mental re-focusing. It is not sleep. It is not unconsciousness. It is not giving up control. It is actually an altered state of highly focused consciousness in which the conscious mind is by-passed and access is achieved directly to the subconscious mind.

Our approach

Hypnosis Session

Dr. Mulhausen achieves such a high degree of success, usually in just one session, due to his thorough and unique approach to every problem and client he sees in his office. In terms of clinical hypnosis, for example, Dr. Mulhausen begins with a discussion of the client's problems and concerns, followed by a clinical history to find out where the client is coming from medically, socially, emotionally, and personality wise (so he can tailor his approach specifically to each and every client), a discussion and explanation of hypnosis, and how it is done, then answering any client questions or concerns, followed by the actual hypnosis session for the specific problem. The session ends with feedback and many suggestions and handouts.
